Founded in 2009. CW & Sons was awarded their first project with Gaghen Mechanical Inc. Over 10 years later their relationship with GMI remains strong.
From 2009 until 2012 CW & Sons worked several smaller jobs as the company began to grow. In 2012 CW & Sons secured a major sewer rehabilitation project supporting WSSC. In late 2012 CW & Sons was contracted to support PEPCO’s Underground Transmission facilities.

In 2015, while continuing to support WSSC and PEPCO, CW & Sons expanded its capabilities and customer base as we began working with general contractors such as Biscayne, Gilbane, and Bozzuto.
In 2016 CW & Sons was awarded a joint venture project between SMECO and PEPCO which was delivered on time and within project budget.

CW & Sons awarded their first contract directly for PEPCO. To date PEPCO is still one of CW & Sons top clients.

First Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Award for the work with PEPCO on the Potomac River Crossing which was an emergency transmission feeder replacement. In 2019 CW & Sons Achieved ABC Platinum Safety status.
CW & Sons became a Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) and PEPCO Awards Segments 5 and 6 of the Capital Grid project to CW & Sons. Also awarded PEPCO Underground Transmission and Substation COC contract for 2021 – 2025 and awarded Delmarva Power and Light (DPL) Underground Transmission COC contract 2021 – 2025.
