Over the past 5 years CW & Sons has had a strong focus on increased diverse expenditures and investments. Each year we have increased our expenditures to achieve our goal of 35% diverse spending company wide. Meaning 35% of the dollars spent on any contract goes towards a Certified Diverse Business. In 2017 our diverse investment was just under 10%. Increasing to over 30% in 2018 and in 2019 we increased to 33%. We have worked hard to establish a supply chain and trusted partners to help us achieve our goal. In 2020 we surpassed our goal spending more than 35% on diverse businesses.
