The project included a sanitary sewer installation project that expanded into additional removal and replacement of existing sewer infrastructure.  Complicating the replacement was an historic tree adjacent to our trench line that could not be cut down and was protected during construction.  This project included trenchless excavation via a box tunnel around the existing 12-inch terra cotta pipe that was replaced with PVC.  The project included close coordination with NAVFAC staff and construction crews to locate all exiting connections and replace the sewer line in-kind.
