South Capitol Street Bridge Project Utility Work

CW & Sons was contracted to construction two (2) underground transmission duct banks for 230kV supplies from existing conduit stubs on the west side of the Anacostia river to the face of the new Fedrick Douglas Memorial bridge and tie into the conduits installed on the underside of the new bridge deck.  Once on the east side of the river  CW & sons contained the construction of the two new duct banks for another 3350 linear feet.  This project included installation of 7ft x 28ft precast concrete manholes, and coordination with the General Contractor, Owner, the District of Columbia, DDOT, and many sub-contractors.
